Edit:- The pattern I used for these mittens is from Ravelry, Tulip's Super Easy Gauntlets.
My friend Jade was awesome and spotted some yellow wool in a shop, and got me some...I love her! As the other colours will be so much easier to get than this yellow...but do you agree that this colour matches quite well to this helmet?
This is the last day of being able to enter my blog giveaway, it will close at midnight in american time (5hours behind me), as I will be randomly selecting the winner when I wake up tomorrow morning and announcing then.
Excuse the quality of the pics this time, taken with my phone camera for ease and quickness! I hope to get to catch up on blog reading and give you guys some loving, so don't think I am ignoring you!!

Your friends buy yarn for you?! That's awesome!
ReplyDeleteWhat do I love about Christmas? I like the whole process of getting Christmas gifts together. From thinking of what would be thoughtful and personal to each person on my list, to finding it or making it, to wrapping it and presenting it. It really is better to give than to receive, isn't it?!
You've trained your friend well...LOL! What a sweetie to pick that up for you. Great way to start the scarf for the helmet.
ReplyDeleteLove the gloves and how nice of your friend to buy you some wool. Lucky you!
ReplyDeleteThe mittens look super, it is definitely getting to knitwear weather. And the yarn is a super match
ReplyDeleteLove the mittens! What pattern did you use?
ReplyDeleteLovely mittens, probably nicer than anything you'd have found at the shop anyway. Your friends did a great job for you. That yellow will be perfect.
ReplyDeleteI've had a bad blogging week but hopefully will get something down this weekend.
Love the fingerless gloves, that's a great colour and they look so pretty and cozy! And mmm, bright yellow wool. It will be perfect on the helmet-hat. :D
