WIP Wednesday

It's been two weeks since I last posted for WIPW, but this time I have my chunky picasso blanket to show you. I started this originally for myself, as I really love Robin's Chunky Picasso Wool coz it is sooooo soft but I have decided to make it for my nana for christmas.

My blanket so far has been made using two different colours which are cool mint and blueberry drop, I was going to do a variety of different picasso colours but these two were my favourites!
This is what have done so far of my first attempt cushion cover, its a bit wonky but I am going to go with it and see how it turns out in the end!
Thats me for WIPW, if you would like to see what other people are working on check out Tami's Amis blog

Also, I have posted my first blog giveaway HERE for this lovely crochet book

  11. How fun to make that blanket in a chunky yarn. It's so much more squishy and warm! Good for you on making it for yourself.

  12. That's cushion's bright colors are a nice contrast to the Picasso's subtle colors, don't you think ?

  17. Love your Picasso -- I'm a huge fan of the granny square blanket and yours looks great so far. As for the colors of your cushion cover, they are spectacular (wonky or not!).

  18. Wow, that blanket is getting huge, and I love the yarn, the colours are nice and the fact that it's chunky wool makes me want to snuggle up under it ASAP. It will be an amazing gift.

And the cushion cover is amazing, I loooove bobbles and the colours are so candy-cheerful!
