Millie's Rainbow is speedily moving on, as I usually find myself doing at least 2 rows a day...if not more. I love doing this project so much I can't resist putting it down sometimes.
Though I really dread the moment of having to tidy these ends up, it's what I get for being lazy and not tidying them as I go along! If you are interested in seeing who is participating in One a Day visit Gingerbread Girl's blog, since this is also my main WIP at the moment....you can check out other WIP at Tami's Amis blog too!
Your blanket is looking wonderful, so cheerful. It's so great when you enjoy a project.
ReplyDeleteI dread sewing in ends, so I do try and do it as I go but its always trickier when there is lots of colour changes.
Hi Hazel...Millie's rainbow blanket is really beautiful! I love the colours you have used :)x
ReplyDeleteThat is a lot of ends, but I can never stop crocheting to weave ends in darn it! Love your blanket!
ReplyDeleteI hate sewing ends in too, just not fun at all and like you I leave them to the end.
ReplyDeleteLove how this is progressing
Its looking great, really cute
ReplyDeleteLove the progress! The end of my blanket looks the same way with all the ends. I'm thinking I should take a weekend and sew in ends up to the current point.
ReplyDeleteThe colours are so awesome - I love it! Don't envy you those ends though... maybe a fringe??? *chuckle*
ReplyDeleteSo fast! Amazing. How big do you want it to be?
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous, I just love the colours.xxx
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy rainbow of a blanket that is. One can't help but smile and envision a cute baby drooling on it. You go.
ReplyDeleteYour blanket is really, really nice. I totally am in love with all the bright colors. I know what you mean about the ends. I just finished a granny stripe and it took me quite a few evenings to get them all woven in - good luck!
ReplyDeleteall of those ends will be easily dealt with if you crochet a border!
ReplyDeletegorgeous blanket & fab colour choice. great progress. sewing in the ends is the worst part :(

ReplyDeleteGreat blanket, I do like a granny stripe, makes me smile! I am the worlds worst for ends....rather you than me!
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! I am really loving all those bright colours!
ReplyDeleteHola. Que colores tan alegres tiene tu manta.
ReplyDeleteUn saludo.
Susana.
It's a beautiful blanket - great colours! I couldn't face all those ends though. The only time I made a striped blanket I made myself sew in the ends from the previous day's crocheting before I picked the hook up again ... therwise I'd have gone mad!
ReplyDeleteOh my god, one day, one day I might if I'm a very good girl be able to crochet something as wonderful as this!
