Happy Late Valentines Day

Happy Late Valentines Everyone!

I mentioned on Wednesday that I would share with you the lovely goodies I received from Gill in the I love hearts swap that All4meggymoo organised. I felt truly spoiled when I received the box with all these lovely wrapped presents. I absolutely adore the tags on all of the gifts and I have taken them off and kept them as they would be wonderful to reuse!!
Gill sent me some lovely things, her handmade hearts message board, a lovely jar in a crochet jar cover, a candle holder, heart cookie cutters, heart cupcake cases, hearts ribbon, lovely warm fingerless mittens, valentines DVD, and a hearts notebook....Truly spoiled. Thank you so much Gill, I enjoyed unwrapping my gifts and finding all these gems!

Thank you Shelley for setting this up, and pairing me with was wonderful!

Cobblestone Square WIP

Lately I have been working on these little 'cobbles' and I showed you last week that I was going to border them with a cream background. I had to make 64 cobbles before working on the cream borders, and joining them as I went along.

Here they are as little cobblestone squares, don't they look delightful?!! I am making a cushion cover with these, but I am tempted to make other things using these squares too. Though my cobbles seem to vary in 'puffiness' as I have used different kinds of yarn, but I think I like the varied effect.
I found the pattern through Colour In A Simple Life, and I bought the pattern from her etsy shop!

I will be back tomorrow to show you the goodies I got from Gill through the I love hearts swap that Shelly from All4meggymoo hosted!

Take care!

Another Rainbow WIP

This week I have spontaneously started another project, with the ambition to use up more of my rainbow stash. It is getting busted very slowly with the little amounts I seem to use in my projects.
I need to make 49 of these little colourful beauties, and then I can border them with cream yarn. I am planning to make a cushion with them.
This is how they will look when they are bordered with cream yarn, and I plan to make a plain cream square for the back of the cushion cover.
I don't think this project will take me too long to do, hope to have it finished in February!

If you want to see WIPs from other people, check out Tamis Amis blog!

This week I plan to wrap up the lovely goodies that I have gathered together for the I Love Hearts swap that All4meggymoo  has arranged for us to take part in. When I get the lovely things wrapped up, I shall take photographs of them before I mail them to Gill this weekend...and I will show you what the goodies are after Gill receives them!
