KCBW Day 6 - My Favourite Tool

Write about your favourite knitting or crochet (or spinning, etc) tool. It can either be a tool directly involved in your craft (knitting needles or crochet hook) or something that makes your craft more pleasurable – be it a special lamp, or stitch markers.
My favourite tool would have to be my 4mm clover crochet hook, as it is amazing to use compare to standard crochet hooks. I think the handle is a lot easier to grip, and it rests in your palm a lot better than a standard crochet hook. Although I would like to try other crochet hooks as well, if anyone has suggestions.
The day to day tools that are necessity for me are my scissors and darning needle....I am quite a simple crafter
This morning I had played about with recording myself telling you what I had to say about this post, but I sounded so silly! I will get over my fear eventually!

If you would like to find out more about the KCBW, do check out Eskimimi's page to find out more details.

  1. I've just recently started using a 4 mm hook more often -- have always preferred H or I. My only preference is that the hook have a smooth tip -- when they are too pointy, it's hard to get them to glide through the yarn properly. Your work looks lovely. Have a wonderful weekend. Tammy

  2. I've noticed these hooks appearing in my one LYS recently, and were wondering how they work. I like the grips.

  3. love the clover hooks too Hazel, its looking so pretty over here.happy Saturday Xxx

  4. These sound really comfy, I always found the cheap metal ones rubbed. I looked at your photo and it occurred to me that the computer is probably the crafting tool I use most- I wouldn't have learnt to knit without the internet!

  5. I have those ergonomic hooks too! They feel so good in my hand and make a big difference. I'm so lucky I found the set on Amazon and at the cheapest listing price.
